Among others projects I'm particularly involved as Technical Manager of a FP7 Project (FOULXSPEL) which involves the development of a new biocidal coating (http://arzakcoper.com.ar/FOULXSPEL/ ). This project also involves the study and development of chemical and bio-mechanisms for antifouling purposes and differents applications involving different substract, such as: ceramic, metalic or polymeric surfaces. Therefore all the involving areas (synthesis, characterization, etc.) concerning bioadhesion or antifouling technologies on surfaces are my main area of interest.

Other research interests:

engineering
underwater adhesion
biofouling

Other materials:

ceramics

tissue (skin, bone, teeth, etc.)

Other techniques available in the lab:

My lab is specialized in polymers modifications/sythesis, therefore other techniques such as: viscometer&Rheometer for polymers, HPLC, Pilodist (distillation for NCO)are available.
